Waitr is changing its name and delivery system
Online food delivery business Waitr, launched in Lake Charles nine years ago, is rebranding and expanding beyond restaurants as part of its expansion. The Lafayette-based firm intends to change its name to “ASAP” and provide consumers with access to a wider variety of asap waitr customer service from all industries. After settling a lawsuit with California-based Waiter.com for $4.7 million in 2021, Waitr decided to alter its name.

The Daily Advertiser reports that earlier this year, Waitr backed out of a contract to acquire a cannabis dispensary point-of-sale company in preparation for future delivery of the product once markets open up. According to the news outlet, Waitr is still keen on exploring cannabis delivery as a potential area for growth.
Waitr Grocery Delivery
Since its inception in 2013 as a McNeese State University-supported project led by Chris Meaux, asap waitr customer service has undergone consistent iterations. It first expanded to include grocery delivery, then included restaurants in the New Orleans area and beyond.

Change comes after Waitr inked deals with Elite Extra and Burq to expand its delivery services to include more categories of goods.

Over the next few weeks leading up to the new brand introduction later this summer, you can expect to see changes to the company’s logo, app, website, and social postings. With the new asap waitr customer service identity, the company will also adopt a new stock ticker symbol.
Waitr claims that this is just the beginning of the company’s reinvention, but promises customers that ordering from their favourite local restaurants will not change or require any extra steps during the period of transition.

The New York Giants, the New York Jets, and MetLife Stadium have all announced their cooperation with Waitr Holdings Inc., shortly to be known as asap waitr customer service, based in Lafayette, Louisiana. ASAP will be the only mobile ordering platform available at MetLife Stadium.
At all Giants and Jets home games, fans can use the ASAP platform to place mobile orders.
